  1. PRIMER
Primer is the first step in your make up application, preparing the canvas of the skin for a smooth and flawless finish.
  2. LIQUID MAGIC
For a soft dewy finish – Apply one pump of Be Coyote Liquid Magic all over face and neck, allow oil to settle into skin for a minute or two.
If your face feels ‘wet’, wait longer before applying your foundation. Tacky is fine.
  3. FOUNDATION APPLIED WITH KABUKI BRUSHAs a powder – Tap a small amount of powder into the lid of foundation, Dip your Be Coyote vegan Kabuki Brush into the lid and tap off any excess foundation.
Creating circle motions, apply all over face from forehead to chin being sure to work product into creases and crevasses of the face. For optimum result repeat this step multiple times in thin layers, this ensures even distribution of powder and avoids a muddy, caked appearance. If you are using Concealer you would apply this now.
  4. VEIL
Apply over entire face (including eye shadow) for longer wear and to set your make-up for the day. The perfect partner for bridal and editorial make-up. Veil will absorb oil and eliminate shine.
If you are very oily you can also apply Veil before your foundation.
If you prefer to apply your foundation as a ‘Liquid Foundation’ you are able to custom blend your own preservative free liquid foundation. As a liquid foundation – This is a combination the first two steps by mixing a small amount of powder with a pump of Liquid Magic, combine these until liquid reaches a creamy consistency. Apply cream foundation all over face with Kabuki brush or Be Coyote Liquid Make up brush and set by applying a layer of powder for a perfect satin finish.NB: If the balance is not correct the foundation will either be too slippery from too much Liquid Magic or will appear pasty and thick from too much powder. Either of these combinations will not give you an even application or perfect finish so taking the time to become familiar with using Liquid Magic is essential.
  1. PRIMER
Primer is the first step in your make up application, preparing the canvas of the skin for a smooth and flawless finish. It is a must that you ensure your primer is completely dry before applying your foundation. If it is still tacky in areas, the foundation will cling to those areas and leave your makeup looking uneven and blotchy.
  2. If you are using Concealer you would apply this now. Ensure you blend nicely and pat into skin. If you leave it sitting on top of your skin without blending it will look cakey.
  3. FOUNDATION APPLIED WITH KABUKI BRUSH
Tap a small amount of powder into the lid of foundation, Dip your Be Coyote vegan Kabuki Brush into the lid and tap off any excess foundation.Creating circle motions, apply all over face from forehead to chin being sure to work product into creases and crevasses of the face. For optimum result repeat this step multiple times in thin layers, this ensures even distribution of powder and avoids a muddy, caked appearance.
  4. VEIL
Apply over entire face (including eye shadow) for longer wear and to set your make-up for the day. The perfect partner for bridal and editorial make-up. Veil will absorb oil and eliminate shine. If you are very oily you can also apply Veil before your foundation. You can achieve a FULL Coverage!

This product is perfect for anyone who prefers a liquid foundation and enjoys a fuller coverage, or those looking to gain the most versatility from their mineral range.

For a soft dewy foundation finish – Apply one pump of Be Coyote Liquid Magic all over face and neck, allow oil to settle into skin for a minute or two, apply powder and this will provide a full natural finish.

Full coverage foundation – This is a combination of the first two steps by mixing a small amount of powder with a pump of Liquid Magic, combine these until liquid reaches a creamy consistency.

Apply cream foundation all over face with Kabuki Brush or Be Coyote Liquid Make Up Brush and set by applying a layer of Mineral Foundation and then Veil for a perfect long wear, satin finish.

As a skin treatment Liquid Magic is a delicate blend of essential oils and Vitamin E and hence can double as a moisturising treatment.

As a Colour CustomiserYou can custom blend your foundations this way, using multiple different foundation shades if you wish.

For Eye Shadows – Mix a small amount with eye-shadow for a cream shadow with intensity and vibrancy.

For Face Products – Mix with blush, highlighter or bronzer to make a cream eye, cheek or lip colour.

As a Liner – Mix a small amount with dark eye shadows and apply as a gel eye-liner. or lip liner with our Angled Liner Brush.

As a Brow colour – Mix a small amount with brow dust for a gel brow colour for a more defined structured look.

Creating Concealer – All Be Coyote Mineral Foundations double as concealers. If you prefer to use a liquid concealer, dab the tiniest amount of Liquid Magic to your hand/ palette tray and add your Mineral Foundation to create the desired consistency. Apply liquid concealer as per normal routine then apply your Mineral Foundation either in powder form or liquid form, which ever you prefer setting with a final dust as a powder and/or Veil

NB: If the balance is not correct, your creations will either be too slippery from too much Liquid Magic or will appear pasty and thick from too much powder, either of these combinations will not give you an even application or perfect finish. Taking the time to become familiar with Liquid Magic is priority, once confident you will see how amazing and essential this product is in your Be Coyote collection.

Be Coyote Veil is the final step in your make up application, it absorbs and eliminates shine as well as sets your make up for the day.

As a setting powder -Apply over entire face (including eye shadow) for longer wear and to set your make-up for the day. The perfect partner for bridal and editorial make-up.

Bake (intense setting technique for extended wear) – Apply thick layer of Veil beneath eyes and to T-zone and leave for a number of minutes, concentrate on another area while this sets, the longer the better. Once set dust and blend with large powder brush.

For very oily skinsApply after primer, before foundation for added absorbency and to eliminate excess oil.

If the Liquid Magic to powder balance is not correct, your creations will either be too slippery from too much Liquid Magic or will appear pasty and thick from too much powder, either of these combinations will not give you an even application or perfect finish. Using approximately a 1:2 ratio of Liquid Magic to powder to creates a smooth, creamy consistency in foundation, liners or face colours.

The Be Coyote Primer and Veil are an oily skins best friend!

Primer is the first step in your make up application, preparing the canvas of the skin for a smooth and flawless finish and longer wear.

By applying a layer of Primer before foundation this will mattify the skins surface and absorb excess oil creating a barrier, this will prevent the skins oils from absorbing into your foundation and wearing off during the day.

By also including an additional layer of Veil after Primer/before foundation will help fill pores creating a smooth canvas for foundation, then also include your layer of Veil as your last step in your make up application to set and secure you face for the day.

If you suffer from all over redness be sure to match your foundation well by choosing a yellow base powder to counteract the flushing and redness such as Light, Tan or Dark.

Alternatively if you only have spot blemishes or want to take your coverage a step further our Corrector Trio provides full coverage for range or problematic skin issues:

Green – For redness and skin conditions such as blemishes, acne and rosacea.

Apricot – For darkness beneath eyes, pigmentation and purple keloid scarring

Beige – A great general concealer and highlighter, aids in in the coverage of pigmentation and sun damage

For redness and breakouts apply the green shade over entire blemish, including a perimeter around the area for complete coverage. When applying use a patting motion, rolling the product over the area this gives coverage to the entire blemish at all angles and not just the surface, where as a wiping motion removes product and doesn’t allow for even distribution.

Their is no hard and fast rules when it comes to make up but how you prefer your application will effect how best to apply each step.

If you are choosing purely a powder application you are best concealing prior to foundation application.

If you are creating a cream or liquid foundation with our Liquid Magic then applying your concealer after foundation can create a fuller coverage and more flawless finish.

Just be sure to blend well at all times and have your powder steps last as they aid in the setting of your application.

A trio of our three most popular corrector shades.

Green – For redness and skin conditions such as blemishes, acne and rosacea.

Apricot – For darkness beneath eyes, pigmentation and purple keloid scarring

Beige – A great general concealer and highlighter, aids in in the coverage of pigmentation and sun damage

Best paired with our vegan Concealer Brush

For Eyes- Cover the entire lid and beneath to the outer eye socket with the apricot shade, this counteracts the purples hues of dark shadows circles and tired shadows, be sure to ‘set’ concealer with translucent Veil setting powder or Ivory/Light foundation. This action prevents to concealer moving with the oils of the skin and provides longer wear.

To Contour and Highlight By drawing an upside down triangle beneath the eye with the beige colour to create the illusion of brighter eyes and higher cheekbones, fill this triangle in completely and set as previously described.

Repeat this action on the forehead above the bridge of the nose to create the appearance of a more defined forehead and balance out the face.

Apply down the bridge of the nose and tip to narrow wider features.

Apply a small amount to the cupids bow and tip of the chin to soften features.

For Blemishes For redness and breakouts apply the green shade over entire blemish, including a perimeter around the area for complete coverage. When applying use a patting motion, rolling the product over the area this gives coverage to the entire blemish at all angles and not just the surface, where as a wiping motion removes product and doesn’t allow for even distribution.

This is a question that confuses many! The best way to determine your undertone is to look at the underside of your wrist, are you veins blue or green? If blue you hold a pink undertone and naturally throw more pink shades so if you enjoy that colour of your skin then you coordinate with a pink undertone foundation. Where if you throw a lot of pink or redness and dislike that about your skin it is easily neutralised by wearing yellow undertone foundation as it will counteract the redness giving you an evenly balanced skin shade.

If you veins look green you are most likely yellow undertoned and following the same rule as pink undertones can decide what you prefer to highlight or minimise about your natural skin tone.
